About Me

Welcome to my website! Here, you'll discover more about me, and the projects I've worked on during the early stages of my engineering career!
I'm a Canadian Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo where I was provided with more than just a strong academic foundation but also a chance to get real-world engineering experience through six co-op placements. These experiences spanned a range of industries, from automation and machine design to consumer product development and most recently, aircraft design. Each co-op has been vastly different helping me develop a broad, adaptable skill set.
Through these experiences, I have honed in on my interests and passions that I want to pursue now that I've graduated. I really love product and hardware design because there's something uniquely satisfying about taking an idea from scratch and turning it into a fully functioning prototype by applying such a wide range of skills. This provides me the opporutnity to be creative while continously learning and developing as an engineer. I also just love the process of designing, prototyping, testing, and iterating because each phase is so different and the final result becomes so rewarding. Whether it's fine tuning mechanical parts, hardware integration, or solving general design challenges on the fly, I find real joy in the fast-paced, creative problem solving that great engineering demands.
In my spare time, I love exploring side projects and hobbies that let me learn new skills and keep building. I enjoy tinkering with robotics, experimenting with 3D printing, or diving into software development. This website is actually a side project, built from the ground up using React and NextJS. Outside of tech, I'm a huge sports fan. I closely follow the NFL, NHL, and F1, while I myself play hockey, tennis, and golf. Being active is a big part of my lifestyle, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and pretty much anything that gets me outdoors and exploring new places. If you're curious about anything from this site or just want to connect, feel free to reach out. I would love to chat!
